New Apple!

So after the beginning of this blog when my red Trek took a beating along with my face, yesterday I managed to stay on my feet after a sketchy icy bridge skid out, but some how managed to destroy my rear tire. So, after my back up bike failed on me, I decided to go wild and get my first ever new bike. Not my dream bike, but she's light as a feather and stiff as a board, and I've got big plans to make her resemble an orca as much as possible.
And I'm still not riding fixed gear, it's on the free wheel side of a flip flop tire.

Copying Brad.

For those who know Brad Jamieson's banana photo. It's like that but with poor lighting and a wall Michael and I jerry rig wallpapered. www.sbjfour.net

Snow Day, Snow Food!

Snow Food= Scraping around shelves and freezer to put together stuff without having to go out for groceries.

Southwest fake chicken soup with little sweet corn fritters and green chillie sauce.

Snow is So Pretty.

Maybe it's the little island boy in me but there is still something so magical about snow.
This is how I roll. One of those days I am glad that this bike has become a single speed.
Snow is just a highlighter for Architecture. Also Kent and Flushing happen to be two of the best plowed roads in NYC
And GaY.

I know I should have pulled these into Photoshop to lighten them up a bit, but It's snowing out and I'm lazy.

New Hoodie Model

It just makes sense with the fish lining

Uno Mas!

This is one of my favorite patterns. It's like winter wilderness wonderland with bears, deer, elk, foxes and log cabins. Now I only have a few un-lined hoods left, but no more different types of fabric to use for now.

Still No Work.

Adding to the list of things to do when not booked on jobs:

New carrying case for my flat wrenches

More of lining the hoods of my hoodies. I have one more that I need to do, but I am thinking about waiting till I have more appropriate colored thread.

Liver Alone.

Cute bike, cuter sign.

It's A Boy!

Nick Jr, Born 02/16/08, 10 lbs 8 ounce. He's named after the Nikelodeon children's programing, not his father.

It was a C Section.

Kitty Deck Chair

The balloons trying to lift his spirits.

Dappin'

The picture is bad and blurry, but the show was fucking amazing. Worth any money and or time you need to give to see Sharon Jones live.

Kittens!

I know I can't paint, but they're still cute.

Food for Change

New hair cut thanks to Marguerite. Traded some cookies, a sandwich, one little apples tart, and some home made hot sauce for the trim.

Fat Bitch

I'm not sure what's more morally wrong of a job to work on Gap or a diet pill for fat dogs?

Why I Like These People.

I like working at a place where I can show up and find these sitting on a desk.

Kaiju @ Webster Hall!!!!

Sold out Webster Hall.

Some how Doughty and I still managed to grab a slice of pizza even though we knew that is what we were going to have for dinner.

Mirrored In The Lake of the Internet

The only difference is that I'm all about Now!

Hoo's Whom

Kate illuminated by the orange glow of the Hooters sign. Oh the places I go for love.

Something about painting this and another floor, along with the rest of Friday, made me really appreciate my job.
